I was tagged in the blogger aesthetic award by Sydney from Sydney’s Shelves. This is a super fun tag where you make a little graphic of images that represent you. I will warn you that I am not a super aesthetic person, preferring functionality over appearances so this will be interesting.
I was nominated for this award by Ellyn from allonsythornraxx thanks you so much. (and I’m not just saying that because I have to). I’m excited to answer your questions.
Also, sorry I have been missing for a little while guys. My exam week has been tough but I am looking forward to returning with regular posts from now on.
My TBR is massive ok. Here is my journey in trying to get it to shrink. Hopefully this can help you too.
This is a bit of an odd post. I have decided to introduce a co-blogger due to the large amount of homework I have. This way I can keep posting at the same regularity. So without any further ado… here she is:
Hi I’m Ella and I am going to be a co author to this account.
Deciding what to read next is hard. There are just so many choices out there and seems like there is so little time. Trust me, having too many book to read is something I know. I currently have over 1000 books added on goodreads on the shelves ‘to read’ and ‘considering’. I have nearly 20 books on my bookshelf that I haven’t read. I have 8 books that I have to read for school. I have 3 more books that I plan to buy within the next month. It’s all to easy for the numbers to add up. I’m going to try to explain how I pick with book to read next in the hope that it will help both you as the reader and me as the confused being writing this post figure out the best way to tackle our TBR piles.
With the coming of new year everyone is making new years resolutions. In this context a resolution is a promise that you make to yourself, however we all know that in most cases this promise will be broken within a few short weeks. Here is what I do to make sure I actually stick to my resolutions.
I know that I said I would be back, but it seems that I am only half back. My computer is still throwing a tantrum so I need to get that fixed ASAP, and I need to stop making excuses and get to writing blog posts. Here are some plans for what I want to do with the blog that I’d love your thoughts on, because a random post like this is better than none at all.
Hey guys. I haven’t posted for over a month now so I figured I really needed to make that happen. Here is a bit of a summary of what has been going on in my life recently and you can expect regular posts to resume next week.
I have finished all my exams and gotten most of the results back. I have done pretty well which I am super happy about, I’m glad that it is out of the way. The holidays are close so I will have more time for pretty much everything else.
I completed nanowrimo despite getting lost and having exams in that month. I wrote an astonishing 8k in one day which for me is an astronomical amount. Now I just have to replot my story so I know what I need to write next.
My computer is in a downward spiral into being destroyed and isn’t letting me open most of my files, I can still use the internet but all of my writing stuff along with to do lists and even school work is completely inaccessible. I have backed it up and can access it on another computer but I need mine to work because I don’t have another one. I have pretty much no idea how to fix it so we’ll see how that goes.
- A Court of Mist and Fury
- The Dream Thieves (most of it)
- Rebel of the Sands
Considering we’re a week through nanowrimo I thought I’d share a quick lists of sites that I’ve found helpful. Many of these are all from the blogs of published authors, and I woul recommend checking out the whole site because there is so much knowledge on there. They have made me want to write again so I hope they do the same for you. Honestly this is as much a reminder for me as it is for you.
