I was nominated for this award ages ago by Sydney over at Sydney’s Shelves. I am super excited to do this tag, especially because it is easy and I am currently in the grip of nanowrimo!!
We’re 1/3 of the way through Nanowrimo!! My motivation is kind of dipping. I haven’t written anything for the past two days because I’ve been busy and distracted and a bit sick. But I’m going to do heaps of writing over the weekend so you don’t need to worry about me.
Hey everyone. A little while ago (or a long while ago) I was tagged by Bella at Bella Blogs Because Books to do the bookish personality challenge. I just want to preface this by saying that I find personality typing really interesting. And maybe this will help you all to know a little bit more about me personally.
Today I will be doing the OMG This Song Book Tag. This was created by Kate from Katesbookdate in early May… which I know was a while ago, but I was super busy and I have a lot more free time now and I have wanted to do this since I first saw Kate’s video. Basically for each of the topics you pick a song and a book that fits it, which sounds so unique. Recently a lot of my music has been from her recommendations, so this will be interesting.
I made a bunch of goals at the beginning of the year and now that it is half way through the year (ahh that doesn’t feel real) I am going to go over them and see how I am going. Some are going so well… some are going not so well.
It feels like it’s been so long since I last wrote a blog post. I’m so sorry. I have been busy with school and the books I have read this month have all been school ones. It hasn’t been a great reading month unfortunately. I know I’ve said it before, but I do aim to write a bunch of blog posts in advance in the holidays. Additionally I plan to read a lot, catch up on homework (I have three assignments) and also participate in camp nanowrimo. I’ve got a busy month ahead.
So I am actually really bad at getting as much reading done and I want to. No matter how much I want to read and how many awesome books there are out there I always manage to fill my minuscule amounts of free time in a different way. I get the feeling that if I asked for a show of hands there would be a lot of people agreeing that despite how much they love books, they wished they could read more.
Now if you’re expecting tips or something then sorry to disappoint because I have no idea how to fix this problem myself but I just thought I’d look at the reasons behind this problem.
