So here is my January TBR. I am aiming to read close to 20 books in January however realistically I might not read that much. The books I plan to read this month fit into three categories, let’s see what they are.
Finish Books I am Halfway Through
There are SO many books I am halfway through and that needs to stop. Here is a list of all the books that I am part way through.
- Promised
- The Death Cure
- Northanger Abbey
- Blue Lily, Lily Blue (although I only started this recently)
- History’s Greatest Decisions and the People Who Made them (this books has been on my list for more than a year now)
Read Books I need to for School
I have quite a few books I need to read for school. I don’t necessarily need to read all of these books before school starts at the end of January but I do want to to get to a few of them. Here they are:
- Five Bells
- Doll’s House
- A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain
- The Joy Luck Club
- The Turning
- Orthello

I’m so torn on The Cursed Child, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan but at the same time I’ve heard so many mixed reviews on it. I’ll probably end up reading it at some point.

Lol, books I actually want to read. So relatable! Although I read The Joy Luck Club for school one year and it wasn’t so bad. I definitely recommend Fangirl. I am overdue for a reread of that one, since it is riddled with Harry Potter references that I didn’t understand when I read it the first time. But still, I loved it. It’s a great book for writers!

Good luck with your Jan TBR! I hope you get lots read :) I have a few of these on my own TBR and also have a couple of books unfinished that I want to get through! Also a few series that I need to continue. Let’s hope we manage to read all the books!

Yay good luck with the 20 books!! I try to read 20 books per month too. *hi fives* 😂 And yessss Fangirl is AMAZING. And I laughed so much for Trials of Apollo (and it’s a pretty quick read too) so I definitely recommend those a lot. GOOD LUCK!!

Yeah I think I should be able to get through them all considering it’s the holidays but once it reaches the term I won’t be able to keep it up :(
